# FAQ

Answers to the questions prospective customers ask.

## What does Sumantic do?

Sumantic is a boutique capital-markets engineering and AI-accelerated software consultancy. We build low-latency trading systems, time-series and tick-data platforms, and real-time trading risk and PnL systems for brokers and trading firms, and we deliver them with an agentic AI software development lifecycle under senior-engineer oversight.

## Who is Sumantic for?

Technical leaders at brokers and trading firms -- CFD, futures, proprietary trading, and OTC -- who need deep, specific domain expertise in low-latency trading systems and time-series analytics, delivered by senior engineers who have run these systems before.

## How is Sumantic different from a general software consultancy?

Two things. First, domain depth: our people have built trade capture, matching, risk, and tick-data systems first-hand inside brokerages and exchanges, so we understand the problem before a line of code is written. Second, the team is small and senior by design, with no bench and no junior layer learning on your project. AI acceleration is the accelerant, not the headline.

## What is the AI Acceleration Program?

It is our agentic software development lifecycle: an AI pipeline that runs specification, design, generation, adversarial review, test, and integration, with an experienced engineer gating every stage. It compresses delivery time without ceding engineering judgment to the model. Nothing reaches your environment unreviewed.

## Does AI replace your engineers?

No. AI compounds the velocity of senior engineers who own every line of code. Every artifact is reviewed and owned by an experienced engineer; the model accelerates the work, it does not make the decisions.

## What technologies do you specialize in?

kdb+/q for time-series and tick-data; C/C++ and CUDA for low-latency, deterministic processing; FIX adapters and Kafka for message transport; real-time risk and PnL observability with automated controls; and cloud-native architecture on AWS, including hybrid cloud and on-prem footprints.

## How does an engagement start?

With a diagnostic phase, often including a live demonstration of our adversarial agentic AI pipeline run on your own material. The first meeting is designed to be thirty minutes of real value, whether or not we go on to work together.

## How is pricing structured?

Pricing is scoped to each engagement rather than published as a rate card. Because we run small, senior teams accelerated by an agentic SDLC, we can deliver proprietary systems at a fraction of the traditional cost of ownership, and we are transparent about how cost maps to scope and outcomes during the diagnostic phase. We do not publish figures because every engagement is different; we explain the economics directly.

## How do we get in touch?

By email at info@sumantic.ai. There are no forms and no scheduling funnels; the contact path is an invitation to a conversation, and a real person reads every message.
